A performance update on a classic sportswear silhouette delivered in 2:09 Mesh
Like the Henley, the polo shirt traces its roots to sporting heritage. Popularized by athletes on the tennis courts and polo fields, mid-century runners adapted the style, embracing the temperature control and protection offered by the button placket and stand collar. Our spin returns the piece to its performance roots thanks to our wicking and antimicrobial 2:09 Mesh.
Lightweight, moisture-wicking and breathable mesh polo is finished with an antimicrobial treatment to prevent odors. Fabric is Oeko-Tex certified.

In the 1920s, the polo shirt became a staple of tennis whites, thanks to an innovation in fabrication. Characterized by the tiny holes, pique cotton (jersey petit piqué to the French) was both breathable and lightweight. With its birdseye construction, our soft and wicking 2:09 Mesh shares a number of performance traits with the iconic pique knit. And unlike its cotton forebears, it won’t wet out and lose its functionality over time.
This relaxed-fitting polo features a ribbed collar and cuffs, a two-button placket and side slits at the hem for easier movement. It’s finished with our tonal signature sash.
