The compressive nature of the fabrics in our half-tights and tights are meant to fit close to the skin.

Measure your waist by wrapping a measuring tape around your “natural waist”, which is traditionally near the belly button and the smallest part of the waist. Measure your hip by wrapping a measuring tape around the hip at the largest part of the hip, taking care to keep the tape even all the way around the hip.

Go Brief

When asked by a runner to design a brief that could handle a marathon, we stepped up to the challenge. Cut from our supportive Allston fabric with three pockets for fuel, the Race Brief won't budge, even when you're making a move or kicking to the line

A Better Brief

A good race brief can be hard to find. They’re either super technical, but only available to professional athletes, or cheaply-made for everyone else. When asked to make a brief, we knew it would come down to fit and fabrication. A good brief should stay in place and essentially 'disappear' while racing—no budging or chafing. To accomplish this, we chose our Allston fabric - the same supportive and cool-to-the-touch nylon blend we use in our Allston Tights and Bell Lap kit - and cut the brief with an eye for dignity and performance.

Race Tested

How well does the race brief perform? It's been put through the wringer over race distances from track 5Ks to the Olympic Marathon Trials in Atlanta to The Speed Project, a team relay race with over 35 hours of running. They passed each test with flying colors.

The Verdict

'The briefs were incredible. I was wearing them at the hottest part of the day, so they got pretty sweaty and gross. I didn't notice them getting wet or feeling weighed down. They didn't move around. Overall, A+. I would wear them in a marathon, which is the highest compliment I can give a pair of briefs.'
