Founder's Associate

Tracksmith is a brand for committed runners. We offer well-considered and original products for training, racing and recovery. In everything we do, we aim to celebrate, support and add to running’s distinct culture. With a number of major initiatives on the horizon, we anticipate a period of rapid growth and organizational change in the coming years. To help scale and achieve our goals, we are looking for a multi-talented and ambitious individual who can provide leverage for our founder/CEO. This is a unique opportunity that doesn’t have a lot of precedent.
We are looking for a strong generalist with great interpersonal skills who wants to have exposure to the workings of a high-paced start-up. The ideal candidate is a future entrepreneur or executive who is willing to work hard and do a wide variety of tasks - some glamorous, some not. You will work directly with the founder/CEO with the goal of saving him time, anticipating where his attention is required, and keeping him organized and focused. You will need to seamlessly transition between tasks, spanning strategy and execution. And given your exposure to all functions within the organization, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills; building relationships and trust across the senior team will be critical.
Skills & Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear and direct communication style.
• Enjoy being outside your comfort zone.
• Ability to learn quickly and seamlessly manage multiple work streams.
• Willingness to also do assistant-like tasks (e.g., scheduling, note taking, etc).
• Design skills (photoshop/illustrator) a strong plus.
• A passion for running and an understanding of running culture preferred.
