This mama runner loves the fit, cushion, energy return and obviously the beautiful sleek design of the Eliot Racer.
In my 15 + years as a professional runner my sign of a approval for a shoe is if I can take them out of the box, lace them up and head up the door and come home unscathed. No blisters, no odd feelings in my feet or toes. The Eliot racer did that and more for me. Nice appearance but not sure if its suitable for running or long runs.
This is a gift for my husband. He tried it on for the first time this morning, got blisters on his toes after running. He said it was too tight, not comfortable. He will try it again and will decide if its going to be the same, we’ll probably return it.

Philly marathon 2025 or bust!
Searched and searched for a first time marathon shoe. Had my eye on these first, but had gift cards for other brands… returned a Cielo X1 2.0, an Adios Pro 4, and an On Cloudboom Strike. A Big Miss (for me at least)
I have the Elliot Runner, and was excited to try the Elliot Racer with its wider toe box and the Runner was just a little too tight and not overly comfortable. Weird noise shoe definitely not for anyone
Whenever my wife walks around with this shoe on, there’s always something weird sound coming from the heel of her shoe. And the sound is persistent and very annoying. Because the sound is Not natural and loud. My wife told me that it is embarrassing to walk on this shoe because of the noise from the heel of the shoe.

Footwear lays the foundation for any run, and only logging miles will tell you if your shoes deliver what matters most: energy return, durability, style, stability. Whether training, racing or trail running, we are confident you'll love the fit, feel, and performance of any Eliot shoe.
Simply take the first stride and see. Run in them for up to 100 miles, or 30 days, and if you don't love them, your return is on us.

- If your shoes become wet throughout wear, we’d recommend the following steps:
- Unlace and open up the shoe
- Remove the insoles
- Pack with paper
- Remove wet paper and repeat
- Air dry
- A race day shoe with ample forefoot volume and a slimmer heel for better performance and optimal fit.
- The Eliot Racer fits slightly shorter compared to the Eliot Runner, so if you are in between sizes or like a bit more room in your racing shoe, we would recommend sizing up a half size.
