Inbound Supply Chain Manager, Global Logistics

Location: Boston MA, Hybrid

The Inbound Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods and supplies for Tracksmith’s global operations. They oversee both the physical movement of inbound & cross-docked goods, and the continual process improvement required to support the logistical needs of a growing brand. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the end to end supply chain process, demonstrated experience in inbound logistics, an appreciation for and understanding of systems and processes, and an exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

This position reports to the Director of Operations & Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and monitor inbound & other transportation and logistics activities, ensuring on-time delivery, cost optimization, compliance with regulations, and timely communication to stakeholders

  2. Ensure successful global market delivery, communicating and problem-solving cross functionally and with external partners from production planning, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics

  3. Oversee Duty Drawback & Deferral program, ensuring compliance, timely submissions, and establishing processes to support current and future initiatives

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate cross-functionally for supply chain efficiencies

  • Continuously analyze inbound supply chain performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose corrective actions

  • Maintain data to ensure timely and accurate information, and communicate with global partners including freight forwarders, carriers, customs specialists, suppliers, and others.

  • Manage standards for external partners, track KPIs, and ensure compliance

  • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices 

  • Work collaboratively on strategic logistics initiatives

  • Other projects or tasks as assigned

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 

  • 3-4 years experience in inbound logistics and supply chain including management of external partners

  • Experience with import & customs brokerage in the US, UK, Canada, and EU

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and strong understanding of data systems and project management tools

  • Exceptional organizational & project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent communication skills; experience presenting and working cross-functionally

  • Experience with Duty Drawback programs in the US and/or Canada is a plus
